Yesterday I prepared my first pull apart bread and it turned out pretty well!
The most complicated part was figuring out how to make the bread part of the bread. Some recipe call for buisquits dough, some for frozen rolls, some for soda bread… I wasn’t sure what to do, but in the end I decided to make some regular bread using dry yeast and then make it a pull apart bread by adding some sort of filling.

Yum!!! You know I love bread, and this looks great!
@Nami: The secret is keeping the dough light by keeping it moist, it is a bit stickier but it is manageable.
Your pull-apart bread sounds very tasty with the sun dried tomato and EVOO filling!
Really by hand?! My arms won't fall off? Haha… You really made this bread nicely Pola!
I love the filling! I could probably eat up the entire loaf.
Pull apart bread is so much fun! I usually make sweet one but I love your savory version. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing it.
What a fun recipe!! I just conquered my yeast fear, so maybe I'm ready to conquer a recipe like this!
Mmm, I've never seen a savory version of this bread, it looks amazing! Fabulous!
This sounds wonderful!!!
Ok, I must have it!
Looks great! I've really got to try to bake some pull apart bread! It's the latest craze!
I have to agree with you Pola the best bread comes from using your hands:))) great recipe and I loved your dish on Nancy's blog!!!!!
No stand mixer… I knead by hand… I'm just a poor student and am saving my money for trips and other fun things!
Poor my stand mixer… I only use a couple of times… I want to be able to make bread at home too! Your bread looks so nice… Your stand mixer must be very happy.
@Manu: with a stand mixer you should make bread every day! It's super easy: you prepare the dough in the morning and bake it at night!
Buonissimo! I rarely bake bread at home (don't know why… I should as I can't find great bread at shops here anyway!), but this sounds so yummy. I love the Mediterranean filling… reminds me of home!
Sounds great! Love bread.
I love bread and what could be better than mediterranean bread
what a great idea with the capers.
