What can I say? I am being terrible at keeping up with posting regularly… I am so bad that today my blog had forgotten me
I had to go look for the login page and log back in! That is how long I haven’t been on my blog…. Well once again I have to ask for forgiveness. On the bright side, I come bearing gifts!

I’m doing my first giveaway ever! I was recently contacted by by Gold’n Plump, the largest chicken producer of the Midwest, and was asked to try their new line of chicken sausages. I accepted and a few days later the sausages were at my doorstep. They looked so good, I cooked some that same night. And the following night I made some more. And on the weekend I used them for my kebabs. The recipe I share is super simple and has only 3 ingredients: that shows much flavor there is in those sausages!
Have to say that contrary to all predictions, my favorite were the hot Italian sausages. I usually don’t like Italian sausages, but these one are so nicely flavored that I loved them. The fennel is not overpowering and the hot pepper gives them a little kick. The regular ones also have a surprising hint of lemon that makes them very light and refreshing. And they contain 50% less fat than pork sausages! And the lack of fat does not translate in lack of flavor or in dry sausages. They are pretty delicious even compared to regular sausages!

So onto the giveaway. Enter to win a sampler of Gold’n Plump chicken sausages.

Yum! I’d grill them up with my fiance
Simply, I was just thinking of grilling them and making hot dogs with cool cucumbers as the accompaniment. More fancy, I would add chunks into tomato-based pasta sauce.
I would make a favorite family recipe using sliced Italian sausage, cannelini beans, tomatoes and pasta.
I substituted the Chicken Italian Sausage for my usual pork Italian sausage. The kids knew something was different, but couldn’t figure it out. They enjoyed it and I didn’t tell them.
I love your idea of using them for Kebobs! That sounds delicious!
I love to cook these with a tomato sauce and serve over pasta.
Don’t I know how that feels! May has been crazy, but I think I am finally back
Looks like a fantastic dish!

I would grill them or use just as or in place of pork sausage
not very original I know, but I think I’d just grill them the first time. Love all the ideas everyone has for using the chicken sausages…
I would use to simply grill for a cookout
Lasagna and the recipe posted! Yummy!

I would feed my kids with these! I support a family of 6!
I would make a delicious pasta dish with a ton of veggies. I would also fry some up on the stove for my daughter. She has autism so she’s very picky about what she eats, but loves plain sausages!

I know I am not eligible to win but I just have to say that that recipe is genius. I literally have some sausages in the fridge and was dreading doing my usual with them. Now I feel inspired!

There is a fantastic bean soup with greens. I currently make it with a chicken sausage, but I’ve never tried these, and would love to! Thanks for the opportunity to participate.
I love sausage and greens!! They really balance out the rice and spicy with the bitterness of the greens. Great giveaway.

My husband and I would devour those Apple-Maple ones for breakfast ASAP–We’re big fans of chicken-apple-maple sausages. I’d probably use the hot ones for sliders, with some peppers and mozzarella. Yum!

I’ve been trying to incorporate more greens into my diet and your dish sounds wonderful. I’d probably make lasagna cups w/pesto – take wonton wrappers and press into mini muffin pan. Layer in ricotta, Parmesan, oregano, basil, pasta sauce, cooked sausage and pesto.
